Itzhak Abergil

The Abergil crime family is an international criminal organization of the Israeli Mafia that operates mainly in Tel Aviv, Israel; the United States; and other countries. They are allies with the Vineland Boyz and enemies with the Abutbul crime family, Alperon crime family, Mexican Mafia, and Aryan Brotherhood. They are involved in car theft, conspiracy, drug trafficking, embezzlement, extortion, gambling, loansharking, money laundering, murder, and racketeering.

History[]

The Abergil family was founded by the Moroccan-Jewish Abergil brothers Ya'akov Abergil (d. 2002), Itzhak Abergil, Meir Abergil, and Avraham Abergil. They trafficked drugs in Israel and the United States and controlled illegal casinos. In addition, the Abergil family also used extortion, embezzlement, money laundering, murder, car theft, and racketeering to gain money. After a slew of arrests, Meir was the only leader left in 2011; Itzhak was arrested in 2012 and Avraham was arrested for drug and attempted murder charges. In 2003 they attempted to kill Rosenstein crime family leader Zeev Rosenstein in a Tel Aviv bomb attack that left 3 dead and 18 wounded, and led to Ariel Sharon pledging $100,000,000 to fighting organized crime. The Abergil family operates internationally, mainly in Israel and the United States - in America, they are enemies with the Mexican Mafia and neo-Nazi Aryan Brotherhood.
