Mickey Cohen
The Cohen Gang was an organized crime syndicate of the Jewish Mafia, led by Mickey Cohen. The Cohen organization was destroyed in 1949 when Cohen was sentenced to life in prison.

The Cohen Gang was the most powerful organization in the Jewish underworld as of 1949, allying with the Chicago Outfit. He had a famous enforcer, Johnny Stompanto, who was killed because he was the husband of a famous Hollywood actress. Cohen forced his enemies out of Chicago, and eliminated all witnesses to his crimes, so he would not be able to be arrested, sending his hitman Karl Lennox on his hits. The Gangster Squad, a unit of anti-gangster specialists, was founded, and they managed to kill Lennox, and Cohen was arrested, sent to Alcatraz.
