Title(s) Drug Lord

Antonio "Tony" Montana was the boss of the Montana Cartel and a drug kingpin . Born in Cuba, Montana arrived in the United States during the Mariel Boatlift, having had a previous career as an assassin. In Freedomtown, he was recruited to kill Cuban official Emilio Rebenga by Frank Lopez, and from there, his life of crime in America resumed. He would eventually kill Lopez when Lopez arranged for him to be killed, and Montana took over the Lopez crime family's assets. In 1983, Montana went insane due to his cocaine addiction and killed his best friend Manny Ribera after finding out that he secretly married his sister. Shortly after, the rival Sosa Cartel (with whom he had worked with before) attacked his mansion and Montana was thought to be dead after the attack. However, he came out of hiding later on and reclaimed his empire before expanding his turf and killing all of those who messed with him.

Manny Ribera

Montana was born in Cuba and raised by his mother Georgina Montana alongside his younger sister Gina, as his father abandoned them. Montana was an assassin and gained a tattoo between his thumb and pointer finger, and worked with the local businessmen as a hitman-for-hire. Montana also served in the army from the age of sixteen and learned how to use a weapon there, and used these skills later in life. In 1976, Montana was trained by the Cuban Army at a compound, and he gunned down several attackers that arrived. In 1980, with the Mariel Boatlift, he immigrated to Miami, and since he did not get a green card because immigration offricials found out the meaning of his tattoo, he was interned in Freedomtown with other Cuban refugees, including his lifetime friend Manny Ribera, and his brother-in-law, Angel Fernandez. Ribera found a man named Omar Suarez, a underboss in the Lopez Cartel, while working as a cook at a Cuban Sandwich stand, and Suarez told him that his boss Frank Lopez would give them a green card if they killed Emilio Rebenga, a former Cuban official who was going to Freedomtown during the riots of August 11, and Montana shanked him with a knife, earning the three of them tickets out of the internment center.

Work with Frank Lopez[]

Frank Lopez

Montana disrespected the low prices he was paid by Suarez and demanded more money, so Suarez set him up by sending him to a drug deal with Hector the Toad and the Colombian Cartel, where Montana and Fernandez were tied to a shower pole and Fernandez was cut with a chainsaw, his blood splattering on Montana. Soon, Ribera and new recruit Chi-Chi shot their way into the suite and saved Montana from a chainsaw death, and they killed Hector. Montana was paid lots of money, taking both the money that Hector had and the drugs to the mansion of Frank Lopez, meeting the boss for the first time and making friends with him. He also met Elvira Hancock, the boss' girlfriend, whom he became attracted to. That night, they headed to The Babylon Club, where Lopez pointed out key gang leaders Luis Echevarria, Miguel Echevarria, and Nacho Contreras to him, showing him only a few members of the opposition. Lopez told him some rules of the drug trade: never get high on your own supply, never underestimate the other man, and always fly straight so as to not become what he called a "chazzer".

Montana was later sent on a business trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia with Suarez to arrange a deal with Alejandro Sosa, Boss of the Bolivian Cartel, who wanted to smuggle some drugs, either by land through Central America or through sea to Miami. He wanted the Lopez Cartel to guarantee the shipment's safety, and Montana started making deals with him without Frank's permission, including Sosa bringing the goods to Panama and the Lopez gang taking the goods from there. The meeting was interrupted by a phone call to Sosa, and Sosa found out that Suarez once worked as a police informant. When Suarez said that he would want to talk to Lopez himself, Sosa told him that he could take his helicopter to his private jet, which could quickly take him to Miami and back. Tony stayed with Sosa, with Sosa telling Suarez that he wanted Tony's advice. As the helicopter took off, Sosa looked at it with binoculars before handing them to Tony, showing him Suarez being hanged from the helicopter from midair due to his status as a chivato. Sosa told Montana that he did not trust Lopez's organization, but that he would do business with Tony. Tony told Sosa that he could trust him, as he never betrayed someone in his life who did not have it coming to him. Sosa agreed, becoming friends with Tony, but warned him never to betray him.

When Tony returned to Miami, Frank Lopez ridiculed him and said that Tony was not in charge, that he was. Montana left after saying that he would do things his own way, and Lopez later sent a pair of hitmen to kill him at the Babylon Club to regain control of his family. Montana killed both of the hitmen, and he suspected Lopez's involvement. He told Manny about the attempt, and he also met with Nick the Pig, one of Frank's gunmen. He told Nick to call Lopez at 3:00 AM sharp and tell him that the hit had failed, which would lure Frank into admitting his guilt. Tony and Manny headed to meet with Lopez at Lopez Motors, and they talked about his betrayal. The phone call came in, confirming Frank's guilt. Tony proceeded to have Manny shoot Frank, and Tony shot corrupt cop Mel Bernstein as well, as Bernstein tried to pressure Tony into paying him bribes in exchange for keeping the police off of him. Tony gave Ernie a job as his new security goon, and Tony took over Lopez's business.

Montana Mafia[]

Montana

Montana took over the Lopez Organization and all of its former employees, creating the Montana Mafia on the foundations of the Lopez Cartel, with Manny Ribera as his second-in-command, Ernie as his chief of security, and Nick the Pig and Chi-Chi as his aides-de-camp. He made $15 million every month, and married Elvira, and also had a great lawyer in George Sheffield and a banker in Jerry. He made an ally in Sosa's cartel and did business with him frequently, but police heat closed in as his greatness increased. He was arrested by undercover police at an interview with banker Seidelbaum, and was sentenced to three years after he failed to do a favor for Sosa, shooting one of his men in a failed car-bombing attempt on a reporter because he was about to blow up the man and his kids. This caused him to start a rivalry with Sosa, and when Nick the Pig phoned him, he said that Gina was missing, and Montana later shot Ribera at the address that his mother gave when he found out that he was having an affair with his sister.

When Montana returned home, Alejandro Sosa called him and told him that he had previously warned him not to mess with him. Montana, stressed by his killing of Manny and his trouble with Sosa, began a cocaine orgy in his room, but his sister entered the room. She figured that he was so protective of her that he actually wanted her for himself, and as she walked towards him in her nightgown, she shot him with a pistol. One hitman shot her through the window, so Montana shot him, causing him to fall off the balkcony and into the swimming pool. Sosa's Bolivians attacked the mansion, killing all of Montana's men while Montana stocked up on weapons. He used a grenade launcher to kill several Bolivian mobsters, and he shot at them with his M4A1 Carbine. He also heard assassin "The Skull" creep up behind him and gunned him down, and Montana fought his way to his limo, killing several Bolivian cartel members. Montana escaped the scene as SWAT arrived, and the last Bolivians (that were not killed by Montana during his escape shootout) and Montana mafia men were killed by police. Montana was wounded as he left the mansion, but he left in his white car as the SWAT took over. He lost all of his 2,500,000 grams of drugs and his $65,884,703 that he had, and he had no home to return to. A Bolivian called Sosa and reported that Montana was dead and his mansion was in ashes.

Return of Tony Montana[]

Tony Montana stayed in a safehouse for three months, and the world believed him to be dead. The Diaz Brothers took over Little Havana, the Gomez Cartel took over North Beach and South Beach, and Downtown Miami became Nacho Contreras' territory. Sosa remained a strong cartel boss in Bolivia, believing that he had killed his great enemy. Montana swore not to use drugs again, and he also kept his beliefs that he should not hurt innocent people. While staring in a mirror, he prayed to Manny, and he asked himself what happened. Montana told himself that he was going to bring a war against Sosa, and that he would kill anyone who worked with him. He had to regain control of Little Havana, Downtown Miami, South Beach, and North Beach to regain the power and reputation he needed to take on Sosa.

After the three months, he left his safehouse in his convertible to talk to his lawyer George Sheffield and set things straight. He called Sheffield's office, and he found out that he was having a business lunch at the Babylon Club. At this point, Montana had only $1,000 and no turf or drugs. He entered the club, and the bouncer warned him that there were a couple of men from Vice that were also in the club. Montana entered the club and met Sheffield, and Sheffield agreed to work with him. Montana was encountered by the two Vice cops as he left the club, and the Vice members told him that he would have to pay them $10,000 if he wanted to get his mansion back. Montana headed to meet his friend Felix, an Afro-Cuban drug pusher at the docks. Felix told Montana that Sosa was putting the squeeze on him and other small-time drug dealers, and Felix told him that Gaspar Gomez was working with Sosa, which made the Diaz Brothers and Nacho Contreras mad, creating a war. He also shared a story: two months before, he headed to Tony's old storehouse and saw that Gaspar Gomez was running an operation there. Felix then told him that the only dealer that they could trust was Coco, who ran a bar on the beach. To start Montana off with selling drugs, Felix gave him what he had, 200 grams of cocaine. He met Coco, who told him that all of the cocaine was controlled by Gaspar Gomez, who kept the prices too high. She also said that she remembered seeing Montana years before with his friend Manny. She said that there were others around that Montana could sell his drugs to, and he practiced dealing with her dealer Ronnie Rogers. After succeeding in practice, he sold 100 grams for $10,000 to dealer Bradley Barton, and he killed him afterwards to get his drugs back. However, these actions would raise gang heat and make future drug deals more risky.

With enough money to buy back his mansion, Montana headed to his mansion and found the two Vice cops at their blue van. Montana gave the money to the two feds, and he regained his mansion, rebuilding his reputation. He entered his office, and he called Felix, telling him that he got his house back and that his place could use cleaning. He asked Felix about Gaspar's operations from Tony's storehouse, and Felix told him that he was running armored cars from there, probably part of a cash laundering operation. He warned him that there were many guards, but Tony told him that he would pay Gaspar a visit.

Tony headed to the La Normande hotel, and he headed up the elevator to confront Gomez, with the man at the desk threatening to call security if he continued ahead without permission. He heard several people talking, as there was a party being held with lots of women. Tony headed to the roof, killing several of Gomez's men near the pool. Gomez's security chief was cornered on the roof by Montana, and the chief taunted Montana. Montana beat him down and threw him off the roof to his death, scaring some of Gomez's men. An attack helicopter and dozens of Gomez's henchmen arrived, so Montana had to fight his way down to the basement, where he entered an armored van carrying $50,000. He drove it over the freeway into Downtown, pursued by Gaspar's men. He found a satellite phone, and Gaspar called him on it, expecting for him to be his driver. However, Montana told him that he was taking back what he owed him.

Tony drove to the bank, and the receptionist Kathy told him that his banker Jerry was upstairs. Tony met Jerry after heading up the staircase to his office, and Tony convinced Jerry to be his banker and go right to the top. Jerry told Tony that he ran a legitimate business and wanted to keep it that way. Tony would get a new bank account, but the bank would get a percentage of his deposit to cover his tracks. Jerry told him to work it out downstairs with Susan, and of the $52,858 that he had, he deposited $45,986, giving $6,872 to the bank. Susan told him that any time that he wanted to deposit money, he could go to any bank. She also gave him the Vanguard Registry catalog, which contained special prizes for valued customers, including Bengal tigers and racing boats. He called Felix, and he told him that he managed to get a few things, and he told him that they had to buy a business, a kind of front to increase the flow of product to the streets. Felix told him about Pedro's Pawn Shop in Little Havana, and Tony hired a driver. He left in his QM Convertible, his exotic car, after his driver brought it to him. He did a deal with Joaquin Limes before blowing his head off with a shotgun, gaining $10,000 and retaking his 100 grams of cocaine. He later met Damian Silvera at the Casa Kusa restaurant and sold him 100 grams for $6,000 before also killing him with a shotgun and taking his coke back. He then deposited $16,627 of his $16,795 in the bank, convincing the teller to give him a 1% rate. Then, he sold $6,000 to Sean Anderson before killing him. With gang heat growing too high, he he decided to do a regular deal with Charro Mellado, gaining $6,000 for 100 grams. He then headed to a back alley to do a drug deal, but he found lots of Nacho Contreras' men there. Along with his driver Salvatore Galaz, Montana gunned down all of them, but Tony accidentally killed Galaz with a shotgun blast while he shot the last gangster, Gustava Cobo.

When he crossed the bridge into Little Havana, Tony Montana found out that there was a Diaz Gang nest under the bridge. He killed all of the gangsters on the docks and another two on a speedboat, gaining 3% of Little Havana, leaving 20 gangs nests left in the neighborhood. Shortly after, he found a "Diaz Soldiers"-controlled area, so he attacked the gang nest. However, police got involved, and he was wounded by a man wielding a machete as he fought both cops and gangsters. He lost the $18,000 that he carried with him in addition to all of his drugs. When he recovered, he gained more drugs by shooting Sol Gamero at the basketball courts, gaining $500 and 11 grams of cocaine after shooting him in the head with a pistol. However, his gang heat reached its breaking point, and three cars of Diaz gangsters led by Angel Moralez were sent to kill him. Montana killed Moralez with his Micro-SMG, and he nearly cleared out a gang hideout, but the remaining hitmen sent to kill him caught up with him and gunned him down in a drive-by, making him lose all of his dirty cash and drugs (which were not that much). He recovered and killed gang leader Ignazio Izquierdo, gaining a bundle of $27,033 and 77 grams of cocaine. He laundered his money at a 1% rate, depositing $26,762 to get a total of $74,375 in his bank account. He fast-talked a cop that came after him for clearing out the gang nest, getting rid of his heat. He then met drug dealer Spencer Hall in an alleyway, selling him 77 grams for $7,700. He then killed him and took 96 grams of cocaine and $8,527. He then returned to the bank and deposited $8,441.

Jerardo Romero

Jerardo Romero

Next, he entered Pedro's Pawn Shop, and Pedro told him that he needed him to get rid of some "hot goods" before the cops checked his shop. He made two drops in time, but the cops arrived early, so he had to lose them before making the third drop. When he returned to Pedro, Pedro told him that he looked forwards to working for him, and he gained a new front for his drugs after buying the shop for $50,000. He now owned 27% of Little Havana, and he had $32,816. He then sold the rest of his drugs to Pedro for $4,608, and Pedro told Tony that he had people up in New York City asking for product, keeping demand high. He banked his money, leaving him with $37,377. He proceeded to go behind the bank and wipe out Jerardo Romero's nest of Diaz gangsters, and he banked his captured cash, with $30,968 going into his bank to give him a total of $68,345. He spent this money on renovating his mansion, buying a liquor cabinet, comfy chair, cigar stand, and jukebox, getting a stuffed pelican and a bong, and getting a vase for Manny's remains. He returned to his mansion, where his reputation increased, allowing him to buy 16 new exotics, sell to $10,000 suppliers, and buy shotguns and chainsaws. Sosa called him on his satellite phone and told him that he would run him out again, warning him that he would not get far. He decided to drop by Oakley Drive-In Theater for more business after hiring an arms dealer for $15,000, leaving him with only $1,645.

Cuarto Mancia

Tony spoke to the owner, who said that he had to deal with a bunch of kids (a "demolition derby") that took over the lot, made up of Diaz gangsters. He killed the Diaz gangster Cuarto Mancia and his men, and he later killed the boss on his technical pickup truck as well as his gunner and the reinforcements. He gained $80,000 and his reputation increased, and he said to the owner that he wanted to have a Humphrey Bogart week starting with the "Treasure of Sierra Madre". He decided to save up enough money so that he could buy the place for $100,000. He was about to sell his 25 grams of cocaine to dealer Noah Kennedy, but he got into a fight with Diaz Gang members under Alarico Urrea, and he killed Kennedy and all of his men, gaining $15,000 from the leader and more drugs. He headed to the alley behind the bank and found Riley Butler, and he sold his drugs for $2,580. Tony then laundered his money at a 2% rate, depositing $98,731 and having $100,376 in his bank, enough to buy the theater. He did so, gaining a new front for his drugs. This increased his reputation even more, and gave him 54% of Little Havana, increasing his power.

Guadalupe Calleja

In order to gain another contact, he decided to follow a Felix lead. Felix told him that there was a man that knew the location of the gang members who tried to mess with him last time, and en route he wiped out Guadalupe Calleja's group of Diaz Gang gangsters in a back alleyway. He gained $18,209 from this attack, and he headed across the street to Diaz Motors, where he wiped out Porfiro Barrero's Diaz mercenaries. He gained a total of $106,903 from the attack alone. He then interrogated the British man, Elliot Marsh, finding out the gang's location. Montana headed there and killed all nine of Pacho Navarrete's gangsters, gaining 70% of Little Havana and $10,000. The Diaz Gang tried to get involved, so he killed Ernesto Ascensio. His gang heat increased too much, so Jeronimo Godino attacked the Oakley Drive-In Theater with 7 other men. Montana killed all of them, saving his front. He then headed to meet Natalia, a femme fatale who wanted to see his mansion. He took $30,000 after killing Gracia Forero and wiping his gang out, and took $10,000 after he wiped out Virgilio Largo's gang at a pothole off of the main road. He laundered his cash at a Downtown bank at a 2% rate, depositing $140,980. He met Natalia at the lighthouse on the docks at night and convinced her to go to his mansion, but he later got into a fight with Geraldo Esquivel and a group of Contreras Cartel gangsters first, killing all of them. He hired the Enforcer henchman for $30,000, bought a jet boat, and decided to send his enforcer Luke Bates out to do some jobs. He set out to teach gangs who to respect, and he wiped out the Lafuente Gang of Nesto Lafuente, using a grenade launcher to take out most of them before shotgunning the last few. He gained $10,000 from this. He did another job similar to this, but he was killed when one of his grenades landed too close to his car while doing a grenade launcher drive-by.

Tony decided to make a deal with Felix's small supplier, and he bought 300 grams of cocaine for $2,000. The deal went down great, and Montana headed to Elliot Watts, hoping to sell him 100 grams for $10,000. However, the deal went sour, and Watts pulled out a shotgun. Montana shot him down with a pistol, and as he drove away, he was chased by a car of hitmen. Montana used a Micro-Uzi in a drive-by to damage the pursuing car enough to stop them from chasing him down. He met Leodines Medina by the bridge and sold him 100 grams for $10,000 successfully. He then executed him with a pistol and took his drugs back. He entered Cabana Cigar next, and he offered to buy the business. The owner needed his papers back from his accountant, who ran off with a gangster in hopes of taking over the cigar trade. Montana chased her to the docks in a boat and chased her through the waters of Miami, picking up the papers as they flew away and avoiding the dumped chemical waste barrels and her minions. After collecting all of the papers, Montana chased them down and killed the thug with his bullets while the lawyer was killed when her boat exploded. Montana returned to the owner of Cabana Cigar with all of the papers, and the owner decided to become part of Tony's empire. He bought the place for $75,000, increasing his control of Little Havana to 90% and increasing his reputation. He headed to the back of the store and killed Turi Mathias and his gangsters as well, and he crossed the street and wiped out Adriano Barillas' gang. Unfortunately, he failed to fast-talk a cop, taking tens of thousands of his dirty dollars away and leaving him with only $50,170 and no drugs. He gained $7,152 from finishing off Conrado Barrientos' gang, and he decided to head to meet Jessica, another femme fatale. He convinced the country woman to stay around his mansion as well, and he decided to go get a drink at the Babylon Club. He was taken in a limousine to the club by his driver from the trailer park.

While there, a woman, a man in a clown suit, and several gunmen drew guns, about to attack him. He gunned down all of them, and found out from a dying attacker that the Diaz Brothers killed his mother and were at war with him. Montana shot him twice in the head as the man laughed, and he decided to kill the brothers. He took a chainsaw from the trunk of his car and headed to Diaz Motors, killing Edgar and many of his men, but Alfonso tried to flee in a fast car. Tony pursued him and blew him up in the gated community near his house, shooting his car until it exploded. Tony had to drive up to North Beach before he could escape the police, and once he evaded them, he decided to take over the Havana Storehouse from the Diaz Brothers' gang. He cleaned out the storehouse and defended one of the coke trucks from reinforcements. After killing several of the Diaz Gang reinforcements, he forced them to flee, and he gained 100% control of Little Havana. He headed to his warehouse's main hangar to deliver one key of cocaine to his fronts, which would sell the drugs. He picked up $193,000 from all of his fronts, and he dropped the money off at the bank, leaving him with $221,993. Montana gained a new reputation level, unlocking 16 new exotics, $20,000 large suppliers, and AK-47s and the .45 Automatic pistol. Sosa called him, telling him not to forget that it was him that made Tony. Soon, Tony was called on his phone by a man named Pablo, who said that he was an associate of Sheffield. He claimed that he had information on the location of his wife Elvira, and to meet him by the docks if he wanted the information. Tony preemptively bought an upgrade for his Micro-SMG to give it more clips so that he would not need to reload as often. He then headed to the Industrial Zone, where he would meet Pablo.

Pablo told him that Sheffield did not want to meet him in public because he believed that he was "too hot", and they drove to the old Freedomtown for the meeting. Pablo said that it was a ghost town good for private meetings, but when Tony left his car, Pablo drove off quickly. Tony was rushed by several hitmen with machetes, and he beat one down, taking the machete and using it to hack many gangsters down. He also picked up an AK-47 and killed several hitmen before heading to the docks and chasing Pablo in a boat that his boat driver delivered. He used the boat's guns to kill Pablo, and he escaped, having increased his reputation. He drove to the docks, where he killed Ernesto Portalatin and a gang of Contreras mobsters. He later headed to O'Grady's Liquor Store, where the owner told him that a bunch of goons were trying in to muscle in on his profits and were about to shoot up the place. He killed all of the gangsters, and O'Grady told Montana that he would keep working for him. Montana gained $100,000, leaving him with $343,821. He bought the store for $200,000, gaining a new front for his empire and 19% of Downtown. However, the cops and SWAT arrived to take him down, taking away all of his drugs and leaving him with $191,993. He entered the U-Gin Shotgun Bar, hoping to get another client.

Ladonna Puebla

Ladonna Puebla

Montana met the owner, and he had to help her by assassinating her ex-boyfriend, who stole money from her safe at an off-track betting place. Montana sent his hired assassin Ladonna Puebla to follow the manager's directions, and the assassin looked for a man in a boat with a blue hat and purple jacket, and she found him riding on a wooden speedboat. She sniped him from the bridge, and the manager agreed to let Tony invest in her place, with Tony paying her $80,000 and taking over the business as a front. His reputation was increased, and he gained 34% of Downtown.

Nemesio Celestino

Nemesio Celestino

Next, Tony entered Fidel's Records, where he spoke to the manager in hopes of acquiring the front. He killed Nemesio Celestino's group of Nacho's Mercenaries behind the shop before talking to the man, and he told Tony that he backwards-masked devil worship chants on some tapes, so the FBI investigated him. Tony headed to the man's friend, who had the tapes, but the man tried to escape in his car. Tony drove him off the road with his newly-bought Conick N29 car, forcing him to hand over the tapes to him. Tony returned to Fidel after destroying his devil music, and Fidel said that he was going to listen to nothing but easy-listening from then on. He also told him that he was ready to expand hs empire, as he had connections from Miami to LA. Tony gained $60,000, and he invested $160,000 in buying Fidel's Records, leaving him with $322,656 and 56% of Downtown.

Tony later entered the Babylon Club, and he spoke with femme fatale Stacey, convincing her to move into his mansion. After doing so, he met the owner, Jack. Jack told him that he was his humble servant as always, but one of the VIPs got into trouble due to a death threat. Montana had to ensure his safety if he was to buy the club. Montana used a Deagle Handgun given to him by the manager to kill the hitmen, and he escorted the man to his escape car behind the club. Montana's reputation increased and he was given $250,000, giving him $577,083. He laundered his money at a good 10% rate, depositing $419,526 and keeping $530,469 in the bank. He decided to do a Felix lead to help get more money to buy the club for $1,000,000. The Blood Brothers formed in Downtown in an attempt to "take back the streets" for those that grew up in Miami, and they planned to heist a bus full of rival gang members. They wanted Montana to grab the bus and bring it to their hideout, where they would finish the job. He met their leader Montay Basco and found out the address, and he stole the bus from the bank and dropped it off at the address at the docks. However, one of the Blood Brothers was taken hostage in order to negotiate for the bus back, so Montana had to rescue him if he wanted to put himself in good standing with them. He rescued Veto Mota from the gang, and he was given $18,000. He lost this quickly as he failed to fast-talk a cop, but he decided to meet up with the large supplier in Downtown and buy the keys for $20,000. He met them in a large construction yard, where dealer Nicolas Garrido was heavily-guarded. He intimidated his guard Roano Tabora to let him through, and he bought a kilogram from the dealer for $20,000. He made the pickup at The Kataneen hotel, and he dropped the car off at his storehouse. He then left to pick up the income from his fronts. He gained $201,000 from all of his Little Havana fronts, and he got a 10% rate on his income. This left him with $692,616 in the bank.

Taylor Simpson

Taylor Simpson

Tony followed another lead from Felix, finding out that there was a man with some information that might be of use to Tony's business. He beat down the man and found the gangsters by the bridge in Little Havana, killing all of them and gaining $9,000. Tony decided to make a deal with the supplier, a large one. He intimidated the guard Morgan Nicholson before meeting the supplier Taylor Simpson, and he bought a kilogram for $20,000. He made the pickup across the street from the storehouse, so it was easy to make the pickup. He quickly picked up $126,000 from the rackets and deposited it at the bank, giving him $795,879 in the bank.

Felix gave Tony the details of another job, telling him that Schuler was worried that the Diaz Brothers were onto him, and that he wanted to give Montana courier work. He met the delivery man and took his truck, making three drops while shaking off pursuers. He was paid $30,000 for the job, and he headed to make a deal with the supplier. He headed to Downtown, meeting the supplier Zachary George next to the bridge to Little Havana. However, the deal went wrong and Tony killed all of the enemies with his AK-47. Felix instead hooked him up with a supplier in Little Havana. He intimidated the guard, and he met supplier Montrel Cisneros. He bought a kilogram for $20,000, succeeding in the deal. Tony and his driver Charles Cooper picked up the product, and he loaded the storehouse with coke. He then proceeded to get his Conick N29 and collect money from his fronts, and they took $109,000. He cleared out several gang nests as well, taking loads of money. The Diaz Brothers tried to kill him by planting a car bomb in his QM Convertible as it was driven to him at Cabana Cigar (which he just had repaired), but it blew up without hurting Tony or even the driver. Tony proceeded to kill several drug dealers and use his selling and retaking strategy, and he sold his drugs to Fidel's Records for over $15,000. He visited the Babylon Club and bought it for $1,000,000, becoming its new owner, leaving him with $27,018 but giving him 76% of Downtown. He then headed to his mansion, where his reputation level increased even higher. He unlocked 14 new Exotics, $50,000 suppliers on the islands, and the M-79 grenade launcher and Mac-10. Now, his boat pilot could deliver a boat to him at any dock or on the water. Sosa asked Tony where he would get his supply, telling him that he had nothing and would be dealing in dimes for the rest of his life. He escaped police after wiping out a Diaz Gang hideout, but they indicted him, taking away all of his dirty cash but also lowering heat. He was left with only $1,446 after he hired the boat pilot. However, he gained some money by his selling and retaking of drugs, and he sold his drugs to O'Grady, who had a new buyer in Toledo.

Navarro Lobo

Navarro Lobo

Tony set out to gain 90% of Downtown as his next objective, attacking the gang nests of Nacho Contreras' organization. He also did jobs for Felix to gain more turf, and he killed four of Nacho's men in a drive-by for the Blood Brothers, getting $20,000 and 85% control. He then killed a man who set Felix's brother up, gaining 90% of Downtown and $40,000. He deposited his money at a 4% rate, getting $87,037 in the bank. Then, he set out to take over Marina Storehouse from Nacho, which was swarming with his men. He cleaned out the premises, killing all of his men as well as a chopper. He claimed Nacho's stash of coke (4 kilograms), and he decided to start distribution from his storehouse. He gained 100% of Downtown, and he collected $1,364,000 from his fronts, laundering it at a 4% rate. He kept $1,403,127 in the bank, safe and sound. However, his successes led to gang heat reaching its peak, and Nacho Contreras put a hit out on him. The hit squad, led by Navarro Lobo, tried to gun him down as he left the JCS Bank, but he killed all of them with his AK-47, many of them as they attacked him on foot at the door.

The Sandman

The Sandman

He was called by the Sandman one time, and the Sandman told him that they both wanted to see Alejandro Sosa's head on a stick. Sandman told Montana to meet him in the islands, so Montana boated down to Lobster Cay to meet with the Sandman. He met the Sandman there, and the Sandman told him that he wanted Montana to take the fight to him. With Montana's storehouses (sales) and Sandman's supplies (growth), they could rule Miami together, and they agreed to do business. Sandman said that nobody did anything on the island without his word, and he had more on the islands than Sosa did in Bolivia. Sandman told Tony that a good place to get a drink would be the Venus Bar down the road, where his ex-girlfriend Venus ran the place. He headed to a bank on the island across from the bar and deposited his $685, laundering his cash.

After he put his money in the bank, Tony headed to the bar to meet Venus, and Tony gave her his number, telling her to call him any time. Venus asked him to help her by killing a man on Black Sands island that beat up his women, telling him that his name was Nacho. Tony found out that Nacho Contreras was on the islands, and he was angry. Tony decided to help the customers of the bar with their problems, and he found out from a man that 20 Colombians had cash, guns, and coke, and they kidnapped his daughter. He headed to the Lobster Cay Village's abandoned hotel, where he found the Colombians holding the girl. Tony killed dozens of the Colombians in and around the village, including Alano Baena. He returned the daughter to the father, and his reputation increased, while he also gained 96 grams of drugs. In order to increase his reputation, he bought an attack boat, bought a $400,000 modern renovation for his mansion, bought Gina's remains, bought modern art, bought a projection TV, vending machine, liquor display, antique comfy chair, drink machine, beer cooler, grand piano, humidor, phone booth, and a marble bench, got a stuffed tiger, exotic fern, vintage wine, a marble statue, tropical plant, bronze bust, and pizza man statue, and bought Montana Records. He decided to meet a large supplier on the islands, and he met Bobby Carr. His deal for 5 kilograms failed, and he killed all of the Caribbean gangsters. He decided to meet another supplier, and he killed a crew of Colombians under Salvino Arboleda before meeting Roldan Bello at the abandoned hotel. He was kicked and beaten down and a Colombian urinated on him before he stood up. He lost his dirty cash and grams to them, and when he tried to take it back, he was shot in the chest and was wounded.

Jude Harris

Jude Harris

When he recovered, he met Jude Harris by the lighthouse. He bought 3 kilograms for $50,000, and he headed to the docks to head to the drug boat. The islands were full of pirates raiding anything that came within range, so he tried to stay out of view. However, multiple pirate boats came upon him, as did a helicopter. He destroyed several boats and damaged the helicopter before he left the islands. However, when he entered the waters of Miami, he had to watch out for US Coast Guard boats patrolling the waters for drug runners. He evaded them and dropped the boat off to his Marina Storehouse, and he distributed his three kilograms of cocaine in his Conick N29. He netted $522,000 from his businesses, and he decided to repair those businesses that were damaged. He laundered his cash at a 4% rate, keeping $745,613 in the bank. While in Little Havana, he wiped out Generoso Carrizales' Diaz Brothers gang nest off the main road, and he proceeded to wipe out Norberto Montellano's Diaz gang, Hector Maestre's Diaz Soldiers, and Luis Ignacio's Nacho's Gang under the Downtown Bridge, repairing all damaged businesses along the way.

Tulio Rentas

Tulio Rentas

Hoping to gain more reputation, Tony Montana worked with the Blood Brothers, who needed somebody to drop off some hot goods. He did so, shaking off gangsters and police, and he was paid $16,000 for the job. Tony had to escape police, who were all over him for killing two of their men, but he escaped them at the construction site, where he wiped out some of Nacho's men. He laundered his money at a 12% rate, keeping $931,087 in the bank. He killed Tulio Rentas and his Nacho's Gang at the docks of Downtown, wiping out another gang.

16th Street Crips

A collage of 16th Street Gang gang members

After that, Tony headed on his Attack Boat to Fountain Rock, the western island. At the Barfly Hotel he spoke with an islander who demanded that he give him his money, and the man said that he was a 16th Street crip. Tony told him to leave the guests alone or die, and when the man refused, he killed him and all of the other gangsters in the area. Even more gangsters arrived, and Tony gunned all of them down, and he killed the gang leader as well. After killing everyone and the reinforcements, he gained 63 grams of cocaine. The owner then contacted him, telling him that he had a problem with some of his whores. Some of them were really transvestites and were ruining his business, so Tony decided to find out which ones were male and rough them up. He did so quickly, and he was paid $15,000. He bought a Floatplane for $350,000 and a Fellini sports car for $190,000, investing some of his hard-earned cash.

Tonio Canchola

Tonio Canchola

Next, he headed to Devil's Cay, where he killed Tonio Canchola and his group of Colombians before meeting a man named Cornelius. Cornelius needed him to pick up a weapons shipment at Black Sands (where he feared that there was an informer who would send pirates after him) and return to him. Tony picked up the shipment, but pirates took over the ship, forcing him to pursue it until it landed at another island. He killed all of the pirates there and took the smuggling ship back to Devil's Cay, but a Navy frigate arrived there. He bought a grenade launcher and used it to blow up the frigate, and he was given 54 grams of cocaine as a reward.

Tony returned to Miami, having done every job in the islands and having not gained much money. He wiped out some of Nacho's gang, but he was taken out by SWAT and MDPD after a long chase. Before he died, he managed to get his hands on an M-16 rifle, and when he recovered, he wiped out Nacho's mercenaries under Victoriano Fletes. He headed to the bank, but because cop heat was so high, he had to give 22% ($86,565) of his cash away and deposited $306,908, leaving him with $517,549 in the bank. However, he was lucky to have been able to get his hands on an advanced weapon and lots of money, so he decided to go along with it. He repaired U-Gin Shotgun Bar and sold 1,115 grams of cocaine for $69,130, and he wiped out the mercenaries behind the store. He also wiped out Raymon Valbuena's mercenaries at the beach behind the Hotel Mar, but the police were onto him. He tried to flee in an attack boat, shooting down two police helicopters, but his boat eventually blew up, and he lost $400,000. He was left with only $474,216. He called Felix, setting up a meeting with a large supplier in hopes of reviving his bank account. Tony boarded a Floatplane waiting for him in South Beach and flew to Black Sands, where he met Reece Rose and bought 3 kilograms of cocaine for $50,000. He took a Picklefork boat and destroyed several pirate boats with his M-16, and he evaded the Coast Guard en route to Marina Storehouse. He arrived at the storehouse, loading it with coke. When he distributed the coke, he gained $1,254,000, and he spent $35,000 on decreasing his cop heat. He laundered his money at a 12% rate, leaving him with $1,498,131. He spent $1,200,000 on buying Montana Productions, increasing his reputation. He now had $298,131. When he returned to his mansion, he unlocked 15 new exotics, $100,000 suppliers on the islands, and the Carbine Assault Rifle and Bazooka. He then found out that the assassin, driver, and enforcer could unlock additional missions. Sosa called him and told him that he couldn't win and would never win, but Montana again hung up.

Nacho Contreras

Nacho Contreras

Montana took his Floatplane to Black Sands, where he decided to pay Nacho a visit at his casino tanker. Nacho set up a casino in the hull of a former oil tanker, where he had several guards stationed. When he entered, Tony saw a cockfighting ring, a bandstand, and a disco floor. Tony talked with a woman there and found out that she ran accounts for the casino, and she told him that Nacho would be down any minute to bet on the cocks. However, Nacho saw him from the balcony, and Nacho told his men to get him off of his boat, surprised that he was still alive. Tony killed dozens of Nacho's men, and he cornered Nacho on the deck after killing his men. Nacho tried to escape by swimming away, but he was eaten by a shark as he tried to escape to his boat, having been shot a few times by Tony with a sniper rifle before. Tony gained more reputation, but he did not gain any drugs or money. He left the ship and talked to the dock boss, who told Tony that oil pirates were coming, and he needed his help in defending the barrel groups from the pirates. Tony used a machine gun to massacre the attackers, who came in by armored car, helicopter, and boat, while keeping the dock boss alive. Tony gained 104 grams of cocaine and a better reputation from the mission.

Gregorio Topete

Gregorio Topete

Tony spoke to the dock boss, who told him that if an informer got to the DEA, the two would have twenty years at Danbury. The dock boss offered to pay Tony to stop the informant, but the informant heard them talking, and he fled to a boat. Tony called in his attack boat, and he fired on the informant with his grenade launcher as Tony's driver used the machine-gun turret to fire on them. Tony killed the informer quickly, and he was paid $100,000 for his job. He talked to the dock boss again, and he found out that Nacho operated a cargo ship off the shore. The dock boss told him that his boys would fly him to the scene, and they arrived in two attack helicopters. The escort was shot down, but Tony succeeded in taking out many gangsters in fly-by shootings, and Tony killed several of the guards. Tony defused several bombs meant to self-destroy the ship, and he killed the captain. Tony freed the human slaves on the ship, and their leader Maribel offered their skills to Tony. Tony found out from Venus that Nacho had an auto chop shop that he ran in the Industrial Zone of Miami, so he had the slaves drive the ship to the chop shop. Tony killed Nacho's guards and the foreman, and he took over the shop, wiping out the Contreras Cartel (leaving only a few gang nests behind). He was attacked by hitmen as he left, as his gang heat rose too high, but he killed them all. He found out that a femme fatale, Isabelle, wanted to talk to him. He headed along a railroad bridge, wiping out Gregorio Topete's gang nest of Nacho's mercenaries along the way, and he drove to Downtown. He laundered his money at a 5% rate, leaving him with $376,786 in the bank. He fast-talked a cop, allowing him to keep his 110 grams of cocaine. He met Isabelle at the beach, where he convinced her to go to his mansion.

Jimmy Gardner

Jimmy Gardner

Tony headed to Macau Fast Food in South Beach, where the owner told him that he needed shark fin soup for a wedding party. Tony used the machine-gun of the attack helicopter to destroy gang boats, and the fishing boat collected all 8 shark fins. The owner of the restaurant agreed to work for Tony, and Tony purchased the store for $200,000. This gave him a higher reputation and 15% of South Beach. He then sold his grams for $5,280. Then, he entered the Sun Ray Hotel, where he had killed several Colombians a few years before. He met the owner, who said that a person was killed there nearly every week, and she needed the reputation to get better. She wanted him to kill an unstable dealer upstairs, and Tony headed there to kill the dealer. Tony headed upstairs and met the dealer, Jimmy, who threatened him after letting him in. Two gunmen entered and tried to ambush them, so Tony killed them and chased Jimmy. Jimmy drove until he reached a helicopter, but Tony shot him down over the Trailer Park with his M-16. Tony gained $100,000, and the owner agreed to work for Tony.

Maureo Casias

Maureo Casias

Tony then entered the Swansong Hotel, where the owner told him that a lawyer embezzled the hotel. The owner told Tony that he had to kill the lawyer first. Tony headed to the pier, where the lawyer was planning a trip, and he killed all of the guards before getting on a speedboat and chasing the lawyer's boat. He eventually blew it up, and he returned to the hotel, where he spoke to the owner. The owner agreed to work for him, and Tony gunned down Maureo Casias' Gaspar's Soldiers at a gas station. He proceeded to wipe out Lucio Cadenas' Gaspar's Mercenaries in their hideout. Both times, he fled on his floatplane to his mansion to flee from DEA and police, returning for the next attack.

Lacerda crime family

Lacerda crime family members

Next, Tony entered the Chi Peso Trattoria, where he talked to the owner. The owner said that he killed a mob boss the day before because he was fat, and said that he didn't need Tony's protection. However, several mobsters arrived to assassinate the owner, so Tony helped the man defend himself from the enemies. Tony killed all of the Lacerda crime family mobsters, and the owner said that he would make Tony proud. Tony did not have enough money to buy the restaurant, so he had to do jobs and save up millions of dollars. He sold 1,851 grams of cocaine to Macau Fast Food for $92,550, giving him a total of $943,852. Unfortunately, he laundered his money at a 30% rate, costing him $230,120. He was left with $713,732. He headed to Mele Casa, where he killed a drug dealer, so the Gomez Cartel destroyed O'Grady's Liquor Store, forcing Tony to pay $48,000 to repair it.

Rio Pedro

Rio Pedro

Tony decided to make more money by meeting up with Cassie, who was in some trouble with Nacho's gang and needed help. Tony killed Rio Pedro and several of his men that were sent to attack Cassie, and he then headed to the beach and beat their manager Felix Camisa to within an inch of his life, making him live with the embarassment. Tony was given $50,000, and his reputation increased. He then headed to the deal with Logan Woods and his organization at the docks of Downtown, and he bought a kilogram for $20,000. He delivered it to his Marina Storehouse in his red Fellini, and he decided to distribute his goods. He got $387,000 for the kilogram, but he had to repair many of his businesses, which were damaged by rival gangsters.

Serafin Martir

Serafin Martir

Raulo Siles

Raulo Siles

Tony flew to the Venus Bar Docks on Lobster Cay, and he followed a Sandman lead. He found out that a deserter from the Ortega Cartel was spotted swimming for his life from Norman's Cay, and Montana set out to see what he knew and if he was willing to talk. He met the man, Serafin Martir, and found out information from him. Tony set out to protect his identity by killing the Ortega Gang, killing Natal Bencomo and two others. He killed all of the targeted gangsters, and Tony was paid $30,000, while also gaining 59 grams of cocaine. He then met Raulo Siles, but the deal went wrong and he killed him with a grenade launcher. He arranged a meeting with Felipe Rondon next, and he met him at Black Sands. He bought 7 kilograms of cocaine for $50,000, and he transported the goods by attack boat. He delivered the keys to his Marina Storehouse, and he laundered his cash for a 30% rate, keeping $1,159,076 in his bank account. Montana collected $2,841,996 from his trip, a fortuitous trip that left him with $4,001,304. Tony purchased the Chi Peso Trattoria as a front, gaining 42% of South Beach. Tony repaired the Babylon Club with his other money.

Justino Candelaria

Justino Candelaria

Needing $5,000,000 to buy either hotel, Tony set out to bust out Felix' brother. He killed all of the hitmen under Justino Candelaria and fast-talked a cop who arrived at the scene, before setting out to kill Leonides Pollino, who organized the hit. He was paid $30,000 for the job. Tony met Aaron Houghton in Downtown at a pier, but the deal went bad and Montana killed Houghton and his men. He made another deal with Hortencia Domingo in Little Havana, and he secured three kilograms for $20,000. He delivered the goods to the Havana Storehouse, and he collected $1,275,000 from the distribution. He laundered his money at a 14% rate, depositing $1,854,648 and having $3,012,836. He invested lots of money in installing surveillance systems at his fronts and deploying five guards to each of them.

Gustavo Rayo

Gustavo Rayo

Tony flew to Lobster Cay and followed a Sandman lead; Sandman told him to knock down the number of gangs on the island. He killed Gustavo Rayo at the abandoned hotel and also took out seven others, and he was paid $30,000 for his services. The Sandman then arranged a deal between Montana and Freddie Austin at the abandoned hotel, and Montana bought 5 kilograms for $100,000. He smuggled it to the Marina Storehouse, and he distributed it, gaining $2,014,998. He laundered his money at a 5% rate, depositing $1,937,031 in the bank and leaving him with $4,265,615 in the bank.

Aldo Strong

Aldo Strong

Severo Marzan

Tony then sent out his enforcer Aldo Strong to show the gangs who they should respect. He killed several key gang members and was paid $30,000, and he was paid $55,000 more to beat up two gang members. Aldo beat down two more for $60,000, and he decided to show the gangs who they should respect again, gaining $50,000. When he beat down two more gangsters, he was given $25,000. He then returned to Tony, giving him $232,840 and his 6 grams of cocaine. He laundered his money at a 5% rate, keeping $4,497,298 in the bank. Tony called Felix, who said that Schuler was in trouble and wanted protection. Montana killed all of the attackers, and he gained $40,000. He met with Alfie Harper in Little Havana, but his guard refused to let him through, so Montana killed all of them and the hitmen sent as revenge. He arranged a meeting with Severo Marzan in Downtown, and he bought a kilogram of cocaine for $20,000. He dropped the cocaine off at his storehouse, and he distributed it to his fronts, getting $402,000 for the product. He laundered his money at a 5% rate, leaving him with $4,899,480 in his bank account.

Tavio Correa

Tavio Correa

Tony found out from Felix that the Blood Brothers were looking to make a big hit on a few of Nacho Contreras' key players and could use some help. He killed all six of them, and he was given $40,000. After finishing the job, Tony was put into contact with a $100,000 supplier by Felix. Tony boarded a plane from Downtown that took him to Black Sands, where he met the Fontanilla Cartel. The deal went bad when he got into a fight with the guard, and he killed all of the cartel men before returning to Miami. He called Felix, who arranged a deal on Lobster Cay for him. He met Tavio Correa at the beach, and he bought 5 kilograms of cocaine for his $100,000. He destroyed several pirate boats and shot down one helicopter, and he avoided the US Coast Guard. He successfully loaded Marina Storehouse with coke, and he distributed the keys, collecting $1,904,997. With a total of $6,689,370 in his possession, Tony bought the Swansong Hotel for $5,000,000, increasing his control of South Beach to 57%. He immediately sold his 326 grams of cocaine for $23,146, and he wiped out Gervaso Geronimo's group of Gaspar's Mercenaries at the Sun Ray Hotel.

Dominic Parker

Felix Melgoza

Gervasio Amezquita

Gervasio Amezquita

Needing $3,000,000 more to buy the Sun Ray Hotel, Tony decided to help Felix by picking up a delivery sent out from one of his fronts up the eastern seabord that had to be dumped in the harbor to avoid the DEA. Tony entered the boat and made the four drops, destroying three US Coast Guard frigates while doing so. He then returned the boat and met the dealer for a reward. His turf increased to 69% and he was paid $70,000 for the job. Felix then connected Tony with a large supplier in the islands, and he took a plane from South Beach to Lobster Cay, where he met Dominic Parker. He got 15 kilograms of cocaine for $100,000, and he smuggled the goods to Marina Storehouse. Tony distributed these goods, getting $5,939,997 from the single trip, much more than expected. He bought the Sun Ray Hotel, giving him 84% of South Beach. For $1,500,000, he bought Montana Fitness, increasing his reputation. Tony then sought to take over 90% of South Beach, and he decided to hunt down Gaspar's men. He killed Felix Melgoza's group of Gaspar's Mercenaries, giving him 89% of South Beach. He wiped out Natalio Mazon's mercenaries behind the Swansong Hotel as well, and he gained 96% of South Beach. With his quota reached, Tony had to increase his reputation. For $2,000,000, he then bought Montana Holdings, another investment. He headed into the Swansong Hotel and sold his 3,602 grams of cocaine for $295,364. He lost this money in a failed attack on a Gomez Cartel gang nest when he was shot by a grenade launcher, but he continued his attacks on Gaspar's turf. He avenged his injury by killing off all of the members of the nest, including Gervasio Amezquita

Tony increased his reputation by buying a solid gold pelican, a giant liquor bottle, flowers, a hardwood chair, a slot machine, and an authentic spacesuit. He flew to his mansion, where his reputation level increased. He unlocked $250,000 island suppliers, 13 new exotics, as well as the sniper rifle and Deagle handgun. Sosa called Tony and told him that if the Sandman did not kill him first, Sosa would. Tony hung up, and set out to take Shoreline Storage in North Beach from Gaspar. Tony killed the manager in his office inside of the building before taking out the rest of Gaspar's men and taking out several attack boats. Tony claimed their stash of coke, and his takeover left him with 100% of South Beach.

The Montana Cartel now pushed into North Beach, the last of the rival turfs in Miami. Tony set out to distribute his 6 kilograms of cocaine to his fronts, and he got $3,156,000, although some of this went to repairing the Babylon Club, which was destroyed. He spent most of his hard-earned cash on buying almost every vehicle that he had, and he made his white-striped blue Rattler sports car his main vehicle. Tony drove to the Industrial Zone, where he met Maribel at the cargo ship. He needed trucks for the operation, so he stole two trucks from a hangar guarded by Nacho Contreras' men. The last truck was at the chop shop, Logan's Garage, where Nacho's henchman Colosis and several of Nacho's men were. Tony took on the army of Nacho's gangsters by himself, using a SAW machine-gun to kill all of them, and he gunned down Colosis with a Micro-Uzi. He found a survivor, Logan, who used to work for Nacho. Tony gave him a job, and Logan worked for Tony as the manager of the chop shop. Tony loaded the cocaine from the tanker on the trucks, and Logan warned Tony that the word of Nacho's death was already on the streets, so the Gomez Cartel and the Diaz Brothers would be looking to expand. Dominick followed Tony as a decoy while Maribel would deliver her load to the Havana Storehouse, and Tony would go to the Marina Storehouse. Tony destroyed one of Gaspar's cars as it pursued him, and Tony headed to the chop shop to ensure that Maribel was on her way. Tony found out that Gaspar attacked Maribel's truck, so he headed there and rescued her, killing all of Gaspar's men and driving the truck to the storehouse with Maribel to complete the delivery. Tony set out to distribute the 15 keys of cocaine from the Havana Storehouse, and he collected $8,249,995. He purchased Inca gold for $1,600,000, Genghis Khan's armor for $2,000,000, a Chaise Lounge, Video Poker, a Cognac Fountain, a Solid Gold Bust, Exotic Palm, and an Eclectic renovation for his mansion, and a Ariel MK III race car. He bought more boats as well, and he returned to his mansion, where his reputation increased. He unlocked 12 new exotics, all suppliers, the SAW and Missile Launcher, and the ability to take over North Beach; once he owned Miami he could secure his supply lines. Sosa called Tony, telling him that everyone he cared for was dead, and that the Reaper was grateful; Sosa told Tony that he intended to add him to his list.

Tony headed to Angel Dust Donut Shop in North Beach, where he made a proposition to the owner. The owner said that he wanted to make serious money, but cops hung around all the time demanding free donuts and coffee, so he wanted Tony to get them to leave. Tony stole a cop car and led them on a chase; two blew up when they crashed in the Industrial Park, and the other cars failed to make a jump over the river, falling into the river below and dying while Tony made the jump. He returned to the donut shop, where he met the owner. The owner agreed that if Tony paid off the mortgage, the place would be his. Tony bought the store for $180,000, gaining a new front and 12% of North Beach.

Next, Tony entered Whippet Gambling, where the owner said that he could use the extra cash. The owner needed him to settle one outstanding debt, where he would collect money from a debtor. Tony stunned the debtor as he was driving his expensive car and stole the car, taking it to an auto parts store where he exchanged the car for cash. Tony gave the manager the cash, and the manager agreed to sell Tony his operation. Tony then headed to Coco's Lounge and Disco, where he met the owner. The owner said that she wouldn't have to sell the place if her daughter didn't get involved with bad people, and she told Tony that she was forced to pay protection money. She said that she could no longer afford it, so Gaspar Gomez was sending men to force her to pay. Tony killed the two attackers inside the club before going on the roof and taking out a sniper and several attackers. The manager said that the lounge was his when he wanted it, and she said that she would be glad to work for him.

Nestor Loyola

Nestor Loyola

Tony headed to Stein Jewelry next, but he got into a shootout with Gaspar's men, and he fled to South Beach, where he deposited his cash, leaving him with $132,468 in the bank. He decided that a good way to get more money to buy fronts would be to distribute his 15 kilograms of cocaine from his Marina Storehouse collection. He gained $9,509,996, and he purchased Whippet Gambling after clearing out Nestor Loyola's men in the back. This increased his control of North Beach to 31%, and he sold his 5,011 grams to the store for $385,847 and the owner told Tony that there were people in Philadelphia waiting for the coke.

Buinton Miranda

Buinton Miranda

Tony entered Stein Jewelry afterwards, and the owner told Tony that a gang kept robbing the bank, which would ruin the business. Tony headed inside to speak with the manager, but the gang was already robbing the bank. Tony killed almost all of the robbers, and he tailed one to their hideout at the top level of a parking garage, where he killed the rest of them. He was given $500,000. Tony bought the place for $10,799,999, leaving him with only $44,702 in the bank. However, he was now in control of 48% of North Beach, and his reputation increased. He wiped out Buinton Miranda's gang under the overpass for $616,519, and he headed to Peninsula Lounge. He met femme fatale Veronica, and he convinced her to go to his mansion. Tony then talked to the manager of the lounge, and she said that she had problems. A dirty cop pushed her around for protection money, and she said that if he took him out, they could do business. Tony killed the cop's guards and blew up the cop's boat as he fled, and he returned to the owner. She said if he paid her debts, the place would be all his.

Rufo Licea

Mr. Black

Lucio Pastrana

Lucio Pastrana

Needing more money to get a front, Tony found out that government aide Mr. Black, who used Felix in the past to gain information about dealers who would not cooperate, was being investigated. Tony had to kill the witnesses, who were under protection. He killed two of them behind Coco's Lounge and Disco, and he killed the other two at Whippet Gambling. He returned to the man's prostitute for his reward, but he had to defend himself from ten females before he was paid $168,000, and he also gained 5% more of North Beach, having 57%. He entered a plane bound for the islands at the docks of North Beach, and he met supplier on Lobster Cay. The deal went wrong and Tony killed the man and all of his underlings, as well as nearby Colombians. He then headed to the village near the Venus Bar, and he laundered his dirty cash at a 3% rate, keeping $1,056,393 in the bank. He arranged another meeting, meeting Lucio Pastrana and buying 30 kilograms for $250,000. He smuggled these goods to the Shoreline Storage, where he began distribution. He gained $20,189,994 from the venture, and he killed Nataniel Severo and his mercenaries behind the Peninsula Lounge, which he bought. His purchase of the Peninsula Lounge left him with 78% of North Beach. He also bought Coco's Lounge and Disco, giving him an even higher reputation and 90% of North Beach. He laundered his money at a 7% rate, leaving him with $1,375,797 in the bank.

Tony then set out to take over Leopard Rail Storage, the storehouse that Gaspar owned in North Beach. He took it over, and he distributed the 8 kilograms of cocaine that were already loaded in the storehouse. Tony was called by The Sandman after his takeover of the storehouse, and the Sandman announced that he was going to war with the Colombians. The Ortega Cartel had killed one of his plantation workers in a dispute, and he decided to attack the worldwide organization while they had bigger fish to fry. He asked Tony to come to the islands, where he headed to the plantation to defend it. An army of Colombians arrived, so Tony used the emplaced machine-gun to kill several Colombians and destroy their jeeps. He then headed to the Sandman's house and kept him alive. When he talked to The Sandman after all of the Colombians were dead, he said that the Colombians took over his plantation on the island of Tranquilandia and were holding his workers hostage. Tony headed to the island and killed several Colombians, freeing some caged workers and recovering ten bags of cocaine before leaving the island and returning the boat and the stashed product to the docks by the Sandman's plantation. The Sandman told Tony that he would complete his empire by giving him his plantation, leaving Tony with both the resources and the connections. With his supply lines in Miami complete and his supply base acquired, Tony had only to increase his reputation before he could confront Sosa.

Tony did various jobs in Miami and the Islands, increasing his reputation until he was ready to face Sosa. He took a floatplane from the North Beach pier to Cochabamba, where he drove to Sosa's mansion alone in a blue jeep. Sosa met with Gaspar and Sheffield, and Sosa and Gaspar traded accusations, with Gaspar criticizing Sosa for making him have to fight Tony due to the mansion attack, while Sosa criticized him for not stopping Tony in Miami. Sheffield asked that Sosa use his political connections to get tanks on the streets of Miami while he would use his Washington connections to prevent the US government from worrying. However, their scheming was interrupted by gunfire, and Tony cornered Sheffield after killing several of Sosa's men in the courtyard. Sheffield dropped his missile launcher and tried to reason with Tony, but Tony shot him once in the head with his AK-47. Tony then found Gaspar and fought his way through dozens of Sosa Cartel henchmen before he mortally wounded Gaspar. Gaspar tried to crawl away, but Tony told the dying Gaspar that he was finished, and Gaspar succumbed to his wounds. Finally, Tony encountered Sosa in his living room. Sosa told him that he had once told him not to mess with him, but Tony told him that he ordered him to kill children, something that he could not do. Sosa told Tony that, for a man who smuggled 400 kilograms, he had to kill children to prevent them from becoming "heroes" on 60 Minutes and to make them hide in the shadows. Tony took out all of his anger on Sosa, riddling him with bullets from his assault rifle. Sosa was killed, and Tony found the last surviving Sosa Cartel member begging for a job, as he only wanted to support his family. Tony recruited him as his butler, and he returned home. Tony married Venus, and they both lived in the mansion together, with Tony nicknaming his butler "Manny". He felt that the world was his as he relaxed in his hottub with Venus while "Manny" gave Tony gin and Venus some vodka.

However, Tony still faced threats from the gang nests on the streets, and he was also short on money. Tony wiped out several gang nests and took back the streets of Miami from his enemies, securing more lands for the Montana Cartel within his owned territory.
