Jerco Diego was a key figure in the Contreras Cartel, working for Nacho Contreras in the 1980s. In 1983, Tony Montana sent one of his enforcers to teach the rival gangsters who's boss, so the enforcer pulled up behind Kimoto Tobacco Trading and shot Diego and two other mobsters in a drive-by with his shotgun, severing Diego's legs off.
