Mike Kurtz
The Kurtz crime family, better known as the Dutch Mob, were a Dutch organized crime syndicate that operated in Greenwich Village from 1865 to 1883, led by Mike Kurtz. They lived in the area known as a "pickpocket's paradise" in between Houston and 5th Street, until the NYPD cracked down on them in 1877, led by Anthony Allaire. In 1883, the gang was defeated when the Walsh Gang killed off most of their enforcers.

The Dutch Mob were founded in the late 1860s by Mike Kurtz, a pickpocketer from Manhattan. The gang were based in Pickpocket's Paradise in between Houston and 5th Street in Greenwich Village, and fought for turf against the Walsh Gang and NYPD. The Kurtz Gang were driven out of their home in 1877 by the NYPD, and in 1883, the last of them were gunned down by Shang Draper.
