Lyle Rivas was a Puerto Rican chop shop owner who was also a loan shark. In 2008, he was killed by Nikolai Bellic on the orders of Brucie Kibbutz.
Biography[]
Rivas was born in Puerto Rico, the cousin of Tom Rivas, who was another loan shark. He immigrated to America, and was associated with the Spanish Lords, and was arrested in 1996 for Grand Theft Auto, 1999 for possession of stolen vehicles that he sold in a chop shop, and in 2005 for reckless endangerment. He also borrowed money from Brucie Kibbutz, but in 2008, he stopped paying him, so Kibbutz hired Nikolai Bellic to kill him.
Rivas was nearly killed in his apartment, but fled in a car, and Bellic pursued him in a Buffalo. While driving to the airport, his car was shot until it caught fire, and he bailed out. Bellic exited his vehicle and holed him with his Micro-Uzi before he could get up.
