Paolo Riccitello was the Consigliere of the Mangano crime family.

Biography[]

Riccitello was a Sicilian by birth, but raised in New York City, scoping out potential business, a representative of Samuele Mangano's businesses. He helped Frederico Mangano out in his business in Hell's Kitchen until his extortion by the Corleone crime family in 1945, whereupon he headed to Miami to scope out some businesses there. In 1958 he secured the purchase of a warehouse, Global Storage, on a small island connected to Flamingo by a bridge. Riccitello advised Mangao upon his arrival in 1959 and was responsible for holding a meeting with enemy mobster Dominic Corleone as the Manganos recaptured turf lost to his family, the Trapani crime family. Riccitello returned to the Mangano Compound, where he stayed, and advised Mangano on sending men to attack Corleone businesses. However, in 1960, the Trapani/Corleone family regained its power following the end of the senate hearings against Michael Corleone and they eliminated every Mangano business and made man before attacking the compound.

Death[]

When the Corleones attacked the compound, Riccitello was killed in the bombing of the compound by Jimmy Lira's bomb planted on the gas main.
