Baggio joined Aldo Trapani's crew in 1955 with an master weapon license, wielding a shotgun. He accompanied Trapani in his Mob wars, sunday drives, and other occasions, and was his bodyguard as well as a close friend. He was in charge of the Baggio Crew, a hit squad of five mobsters. Baggio was one of the participants in the Bombing of WarioWare Inc. Warehouse in December 1955 in Jersey City, and also took part in the hijacking of racket trucks across the NYC Metropolitan Area.
He died on December 15, 1955, when the Barzini enforcers attacked Trapani, since they witnessed the robbery of a Barzini crime family racket truck in Little Italy. Baggio was killed when the racket truck exploded in front of Hotel Alioto, while Trapani was able to escape and flee to safety in his suite.
