Steven Pavarino was an Italian-American businessman and an associate of the Pegorino crime family in Jersey City, running drug dealership operations in the area alongside Jackie Brown. He was murdered in 2008 because he allegedly got Ashley Butler, the girlfriend of The Lost MC President Johnny Klebitz, on drugs.

Biography[]

Pavarino was born in Little Italy to a family of Sicilian heritage, but he was also related to people from Tuscany in Northern Italy, so he could not be a Soldier in the Italian Mafia. Pavarino became a kleptomaniac when he was young, stealing everything from packages of gum to assault rifles. Pavarino was sent to a juvenile delinquent center in 1997 for selling a PM63, full clip, to the Italian Mafia, and in 2006, he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine. Pavarino thus became associated with the Pegorino crime family, and he started stealing and smuggling cocaine.

One of the victims of his drug empire was Ashley Butler, a 27 year-old member of The Lost MC gang, and the former girlfriend of Johnny Klebitz, the President of the Lost Brotherhood LMC New Jersey Chapter. In response, Klebitz drove his car to an alleyway where Pavarino and his business partner Jackie Brown were meeting, and they fled. He pursued them a few feet to the crossing of Asahara Road and Rand Avenue, where he ran them both over until they died.
